Our mission is to save as many books as we can and get these used (pre-owned, loved, treasured) books to new and loving homes. We are a 100% charitable and non-profit operation and work on a voluntary- and donation-only basis.

One cold February day I happened upon about 40 boxes of used books soon to be abandoned to the trash collector. This was not OK, and something had to be done to preserve these books and the treasury of knowledge, wisdom, and information contained in them.

Do you or someone you know have books on hand that you can no longer keep - moving?, downsizing?, making other living arrangements?, you've run out of space? Whatever the reason may be, contact us to arrange a pick-up or drop-off. We'll pick-up anywhere in Chicagoland, and drop-offs can be arranged.
